Technology for Schools and Learning Centers

Be ready before the bell, at every location.

Student data, student devices, and a filter that has to be strict without breaking the lesson plan. Tezkabyte plans, installs, secures, and supports the technology behind your classrooms, so your teachers can teach.

One Partner for Campuses, Classrooms, and Online

School technology is usually split across the Wi-Fi installer, the device vendor, the filtering service, the phone provider, the camera company, and the website. When the network drops during testing, nobody owns the whole picture.

Tezkabyte acts as your single point of contact for the technology side of every location. We work alongside your administrators, your contractors, and your existing vendors, and we stay after the first day of school.

  • Direct engineer access. You talk to the person who designed and supports your setup, not a call center.
  • One accountable contact across campuses, classrooms, security, and your website.
  • Itemized, predictable pricing. We list labor, hardware, and monthly support separately.
  • Consistent standards across locations, so a new campus opens with the same network, filtering, and devices as the others.

One Location or Many

Some clients have one school or learning center and want it done right. Others run several campuses and need every one to work the same way. We support both, and we start where you are.

One school or center: technology that works from the first day of term.

Multiple campuses: one network, filtering, and device standard, so every location works the same way.

New Campus & Classroom Build-Outs

The best time to plan technology is before the walls close. We help you decide what a campus needs, then build it and get it ready for students.

  • Technology planning and design: classrooms, offices, front desk and check-in, network closets, and outdoor areas
  • Structured cabling and network: wired drops and high-density Wi-Fi, with separate networks for students, staff, guests, and building systems
  • Hardware installation: staff workstations, student devices, displays, printers, and charging carts
  • Classroom AV: displays or projectors, audio, and simple controls teachers can run
  • Security and safety: cameras, door access, visitor check-in, and door sensors
  • Accounts and software: staff and student accounts, multi-factor authentication for staff, content filtering, device management, and backups
  • Testing and opening support: connectivity and workflow testing, documentation, and on-call help during the first weeks of term

Rollouts are scheduled for breaks, so the first day of school isn’t the first test.

Delivered as a site-specific budget that separates labor, hardware, materials, vendor charges, and ongoing support.

One Standard Across Every Location

More than one campus means more than one chance for things to drift. We keep them the same.

  • The same network design, filtering policy, device setup, and naming at every location
  • A documented playbook, so a new location is a repeat, not a reinvention
  • Central monitoring across all locations
  • One set of vendor contacts and one place to ask for help
  • Summer refresh planning, so devices are replaced on a schedule, not in a panic

Ongoing Managed IT & Support

Support that follows the school calendar, with response targets and coverage agreed in advance.

  • Classroom technology and device support
  • Network and Wi-Fi monitoring
  • Staff and student account setup, with rollover each term
  • Device management and lifecycle planning
  • Remote help plus scheduled onsite visits
  • Updates and maintenance scheduled outside school hours
  • Backup oversight and recovery planning
  • Coordination with your curriculum software, phone, and internet providers
  • Monthly reporting and defined escalation

Plans are priced per location and tailored to the number of classrooms, students, and devices.

Term-start and testing-week support: We agree on coverage for the first week of term, testing windows, and events in advance, and we hold changes until they’re over.

Cybersecurity & Student Privacy

Children’s information and school systems need protection that’s strict without getting in the way of learning.

  • Content filtering that’s strict by default and adjustable by grade or program
  • Protection for student records and family contact information
  • Separate accounts and permissions for students, teachers, and administrators
  • Multi-factor authentication for staff
  • Network segmentation that keeps student, staff, guest, and building systems apart
  • Endpoint protection and managed patching
  • Immutable off-site backups and tested disaster recovery
  • Email protection and staff training on phishing
  • Incident response planning

Student data often falls under rules such as FERPA and COPPA, and filtering requirements such as CIPA apply to some funded programs. We build the technical controls. Your administrators and advisors own the policies. [Confirm per client.]

Classroom & Campus Technology

The everyday tools that make a classroom work.

  • High-density Wi-Fi: designed for a room full of devices at once
  • Classroom displays: installed, labeled, and simple to use
  • Shared devices and charging carts: managed, locked down, and easy to reset between classes
  • Printers and copiers: coordinated with your vendors
  • Phones, intercom, and paging: reliable communication across the building
  • Libraries and computer labs: configured and supported
  • Guest Wi-Fi for families and visitors: separate from student and staff networks

Physical Security & Safe Campus

Commercial-grade devices that help protect students and staff.

  • Cameras: entrances, hallways, parking, and outdoor areas, never in restrooms or changing areas
  • Door access and visitor check-in: secure entry, individual staff credentials, and activity logs
  • Secure pickup and drop-off: controlled entry for childcare and early learning programs
  • Door sensors and alerts: notifications when an entry opens after hours

We support your safety plan. We don’t write it. Every device sits on its own network segment, apart from student and staff systems.

Websites & Digital Presence

Your website is often a family’s first visit.

  • Enrollment and inquiry forms
  • Tour scheduling
  • Calendars, announcements, and program pages
  • Links to parent communication and payment tools
  • Accessible design that works for every family
  • Local search visibility for each location
  • Fast hosting, security, and regular updates
  • Analytics and ongoing optimization

Projects can be scoped one at a time or organized into a defined website-care plan.

How It Works

  1. Plan: We learn about the school: locations, classrooms, students, and the technology you expect it to need.
  2. Build: We design, install, and secure the environment, scheduled around your calendar.
  3. Open: We test critical workflows and support the first weeks of term.
  4. Support: We stay on for monthly support, security, and web care.

Onsite or Remote Support

Some clients want us in the room. Others only need us on the line. Tezkabyte offers both: onsite installation and support, and remote-only plans for work that doesn’t need us in the building. Tell us where you are and what you need, and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

When we do come onsite, plan on 30 to 60 minutes to arrive, depending on distance and traffic.

Questions We Hear

What do you need to give us a planning range?

Roughly how many locations, classrooms, and students you have, and what technology is in place or planned: Wi-Fi, devices, displays, cameras, and phones. Ballpark answers are fine.

Can you work during the summer break?

That’s when the big projects belong. We plan rollouts around your calendar so classrooms are ready on the first day.

Do you handle content filtering?

Yes. Strict enough to protect kids, flexible enough not to break the lesson plan.

Can you help with funding programs?

We can provide technology scopes and documentation where programs require them. Eligibility depends on your organization.

Do you support more than one location?

Yes. Consistency across locations is the heart of the job.

Do you sell hardware?

Where available, we pass manufacturer partner pricing through to you, always itemized separately from labor.
