Technology for Musicians, DJs, Performers, and Recording Studios

Build the setup. Grow the audience.

Your gear has to work when the room is full, or the record light is on, and your website has to work while you’re asleep. Tezkabyte cables, builds, and supports the systems behind the music, and builds the online presence that gets you booked.

One Partner for Studios, Rigs, and Online

Music technology tends to be a pile: a computer from one place, cabling from a friend, a website from a template, and a stack of subscriptions nobody tracks. When the session computer won’t boot with a client in the room, or the site that takes bookings goes down, nobody owns the whole picture.

Tezkabyte acts as your single point of contact for the technology side of your studio, your rig, and your brand. We work alongside your engineers, your gear vendors, and your contractors, and we stay after the first session or show.

  • Direct engineer access. You talk to the person who built and supports your setup, not a call center.
  • One accountable contact across cabling, computers, security, and your website.
  • Itemized, predictable pricing. We list labor, hardware, and monthly support separately.
  • Built to scale, from a solo performer to a multi-room studio.

One Artist or Many

Some clients are the talent. Others record the talent, run a rehearsal space, or manage a venue. We support both, and we start where you are.

One artist or one room: a reliable setup, a backup plan, and a website that gets you booked.

Several rooms, acts, or locations: one standard for networks, storage, backups, and access, so every session and show starts the same way.

Studio, Rehearsal & Venue Build-Outs

The best time to plan technology is before the walls are closed and the cables are hidden. We help you decide what the space needs, then build it and get it ready for work.

  • Technology planning and design: control room, live room, machine room, rack locations, cable paths, and power
  • Structured cabling: audio, data, and video runs, patch bays, and wall plates, labeled and documented so the next person can follow them
  • Network design: a dedicated network for audio and production, kept apart from guest and office traffic
  • Hardware installation: workstations, interfaces, monitors, displays, racks, and battery backup, installed alongside your engineer and each manufacturer’s instructions
  • Storage and backups: fast session storage with versioned and off-site backups
  • Security and smart building: cameras, access control for gear rooms, and door sensors
  • Accounts and software: user accounts, license and subscription tracking, update plans, and recovery planning
  • Testing and opening support: we test the network and machines with a real session before you rely on them

Delivered as a site-specific budget that separates labor, hardware, materials, vendor charges, and ongoing support.

Custom Builds & Live Rigs

The machine you perform or produce on shouldn’t be a guess.

  • Custom-built workstations: quiet, fast, and built for the work you do, whether that’s audio, video, or both [confirm specifics before publishing]
  • Performance and DJ rigs: laptops and controllers set up for the stage, with a backup rig ready if one dies mid-set
  • Streaming and production machines: built for live video and long sessions
  • Repairs and upgrades: a second life for machines that still have good parts
  • Operating system and driver setup: configured with your interface, software, and gear vendors
  • Gear lifecycle planning: know what to replace, and when, before it fails on a gig

Ongoing Managed IT & Support

Support that fits a creative schedule, with coverage agreed in advance.

  • Troubleshooting for studio, performance, and office machines
  • Network monitoring and Wi-Fi management
  • Updates scheduled around sessions, shows, and tours, never the day before
  • Backup oversight and recovery planning for sessions, masters, and projects
  • License and subscription tracking
  • Remote help plus scheduled onsite visits
  • Coordination with your interface, software, and gear vendors
  • Monthly reporting and defined escalation

Plans are priced per studio or per artist and tailored to the size of the setup and the technology in place.

Session- and gig-day readiness: We agree on update freezes and coverage around bookings, sessions, and tour dates in advance. Most issues start with remote help, and we work with your engineer instead of replacing them.

Cybersecurity

Your masters, unreleased tracks, and client sessions are the product. Protect them like it.

  • Immutable off-site backups for sessions, masters, and projects, with recovery tests
  • Multi-factor authentication on email, cloud storage, distribution, streaming, and social accounts, because hijacked accounts hurt artists fast
  • Ransomware protection on studio and performance machines
  • Email protection against impersonation and fake booking or payment requests
  • Secure file delivery for clients and collaborators, with controlled sharing links
  • Client and guest Wi-Fi kept apart from studio systems
  • Access for collaborators and engineers that ends when the project does
  • Website security: secure hosting, monitoring, and regular updates

Audio, Video & Streaming

Getting the performance out of the room and in front of people.

  • Livestream setup: cameras, audio, a streaming machine, and a connection you can trust
  • Remote sessions: video and audio setups for collaborators who aren’t in the room
  • Content capture: cameras, audio, and cabling for recording video alongside sound
  • Control-room video and displays: see the live room from the control room
  • Simple controls: a layout anyone on the team can run

We plan AV alongside your acoustic design and your engineer’s layout, so wiring and equipment stay out of the way.

Physical Security & Equipment Protection

Gear is expensive and easy to carry. Commercial-grade devices help protect it.

  • Cameras: entrances, load-in areas, hallways, and storage, with secure remote viewing
  • Access control: individual credentials, scheduled access, and activity logs for studios, rehearsal rooms, and gear storage, including renters and visiting engineers
  • Door sensors and alerts: notifications when an entry opens after hours
  • Network separation: every device sits on its own segment, apart from studio and guest systems

Websites & Brand Growth

Your website is your booking agent when you’re asleep.

  • Artist, DJ, and band sites built to get booked, with inquiry forms and availability calendars
  • Press kit pages with bios, photos, and tech riders
  • Music, mix, and video embeds with links to every streaming platform
  • Tour dates, event pages, and ticket links
  • Merch and online store, where it fits
  • Studio sites with services, rates, a portfolio, session booking, and client file delivery
  • Local search visibility and Google Business Profile support, so people find you when they search for a DJ or a studio nearby
  • Fast hosting, security, and regular updates
  • Analytics that show where fans and bookers come from

Projects can be scoped one at a time or organized into a defined website-care plan.

Reach, Promotion & Audience

A good site is only the start. We help it work harder.

  • Link hub: one page that sends fans to every platform you use
  • Mailing list: signup forms and newsletters, with consent language that fits the rules [confirm wording with your counsel]
  • Consistent brand: a matching look across your site, email, and profiles
  • Release and event pages: a dedicated landing page for every album, single, show, or promotion
  • Search and local reach: content and setup that help the right people find you
  • Reporting: a short, readable summary of what’s working
  • Selected automation and AI-enabled workflows: the repetitive tasks, off your plate

How It Works

  1. Plan: We learn about your setup, your audience, and your goals.
  2. Build: We cable, build, install, and secure the technology, and build the site.
  3. Launch: We test with a real session or show and support your first weeks.
  4. Support: We stay on for monthly support, security, and web care.

Onsite or Remote Support

Some clients want us in the room. Others only need us on the line. Tezkabyte offers both: onsite installation and support, and remote-only plans for work that doesn’t need us in the building. Tell us where you are and what you need, and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

When we do come onsite, plan on 30 to 60 minutes to arrive, depending on distance and traffic.

Questions We Hear

What do you need to give us a planning range?

Roughly how large the space is, how many rooms or machines you have, and what technology is in place or planned: computers, interfaces, network, storage, and any website work. Ballpark answers are fine.

I’m a DJ with a laptop and a website from years ago. Where do we start?

With the website, usually. We update it so people can find you, hear you, and book you, then look at your rig and your backups.

Can you work with our studio’s gear and software?

Yes. We support the computers, network, and cabling around your gear, and we coordinate with your engineer and your vendors.

Can you build a custom computer?

Yes. Tell us what you do on it and what you’ve outgrown, and we’ll recommend a build.

Does this cover music licensing?

No. Licensing and royalty registration are separate from technology. We can point you to the right resources.

Do you sell hardware?

Where available, we pass manufacturer partner pricing through to you, always itemized separately from labor.

Ready to Turn It Up?

Tell us about your studio, your setup, or your act. We’ll respond with a plan for what it needs.
