Technology for Salons, Spas, and Personal Care Studios
Keep the chairs full and the front desk calm.
Your clients expect easy booking, quick payment, and a space that feels right. Tezkabyte plans, installs, secures, and supports the technology behind that experience, so your team can stay focused on the person in the chair.

One Partner for Openings, Operations, and Online
Studio technology tends to be scattered: a booking app, a card reader, a router from the internet provider, and a website someone built years ago. When the schedule won’t load at 9 a.m. on a Saturday, nobody owns the whole picture.
Tezkabyte acts as your single point of contact for the technology side of your studio or studios. We work alongside your landlord, contractors, and existing vendors, and we stay after opening day.
- Direct engineer access. You talk to the person who designed and supports your setup, not a call center.
- One accountable contact across the build-out, daily support, and your website.
- Itemized, predictable pricing. We list labor, hardware, and monthly support separately.
- Consistent standards across locations, so the second studio is easier than the first.
One Location or Many
Some clients have one studio and want it done right. Others run several and need every one to work the same way. We support both, and we start where you are.
One studio: reliable booking, payments, and security without enterprise overhead.
Multiple studios: one booking, payment, and security standard across locations, so staff can move between studios and nothing feels unfamiliar.
New Studio Openings & Build-Outs
The best time to plan technology is before the walls go up. We help you decide what the space needs, then build it and get it ready to open.
- Technology planning and design: station and room layouts, front desk, retail display, and equipment locations
- Structured cabling and network: wired drops for the front desk and payments, plus Wi-Fi that reaches every room
- Hardware installation: front desk station, card readers, check-in tablets, printers, and back-office equipment
- Booking and software setup: scheduling, deposits, reminders, memberships, and gift cards
- Music, audio, and displays: sound by room, screens, and simple controls
- Security and smart building: cameras in common areas, smart locks, and door sensors
- Accounts and backups: email, user accounts, and recovery planning
- Testing and opening support: booking, payment, and printing tests, documentation, and on-call help during opening week
Delivered as a site-specific budget that separates labor, hardware, materials, vendor charges, and ongoing support.
Booking, Payments & Front Desk Systems
Your calendar is your revenue. We make sure it’s dependable.
- Scheduling platform setup, cleanup, and support
- Card readers, tap-to-pay, and tip handling
- Deposits, no-show fees, and automatic reminders
- Memberships, packages, and gift cards
- Client records and consent forms
- Reporting that shows what’s booked, what’s paid, and what’s missing
- Website booking connected to the same calendar
We work with the platform you prefer, and we’ll help you compare options if you’re choosing one.
Ongoing Managed IT & Support
Support that fits a studio’s real hours, including evenings and weekends, with response targets agreed in advance.
- Booking, POS, and device support
- Network monitoring and Wi-Fi management
- Printer, tablet, and workstation support
- Remote help plus scheduled onsite visits
- Preventative maintenance and supported-system updates
- Backup oversight and recovery planning
- Coordination with your booking, payment, and internet providers
- Monthly reporting and defined escalation
Plans are priced per studio and tailored to the size of the space, the number of stations, and the technology in place.
Cybersecurity
Client details and cards on file need protection, without turning your front desk into a lab.
- Network segmentation to keep payment systems separate from guest Wi-Fi and building devices
- Individual accounts for every team member, with no shared passwords, and separate access for independent stylists and booth renters
- Multi-factor authentication and endpoint protection
- Security training for staff
- Immutable off-site backups and disaster recovery planning
- Booking page and website security: secure hosting, monitoring, and regular updates
Studio Experience: Wi-Fi, Music & Displays
The atmosphere is part of the service. We make it simple for any stylist or manager to run.
- Guest Wi-Fi: fast, separate from payment systems and staff devices
- Music and audio: sound set separately for the lobby, stations, and treatment rooms
- Screens and signage: service menus, promotions, and waiting-area displays
- Simple controls: touch panels or tablets so staff can change music and scenes without calling anyone
- One-button reset: restores default settings after a busy day or a staff change
Commercial music licensing is a separate requirement from the equipment. We’ll point you toward licensed options.
Physical Security & Smart Building Systems
Commercial-grade devices that protect the space, managed with the same care as your network.
- Cameras: coverage for entrances, reception, retail areas, back-of-house, and parking, never in treatment rooms, changing areas, or restrooms
- Smart locks and access control: individual credentials for staff and booth renters, scheduled access, and activity logs, so a lost key doesn’t mean rekeying the studio
- Door sensors and alerts: notifications when an entry opens after hours
- Thermostats and environmental sensors: comfortable rooms and monitored equipment areas
Every device sits on its own network segment, apart from payment systems and guest Wi-Fi.
Websites & Digital Presence
Your website is often where a new client first sees your work.
- Online booking connected to your calendar
- Service menus, pricing, and team pages
- Galleries and before-and-after work
- Memberships and gift cards online
- Local search visibility, reviews, and Google Business Profile support
- Fast hosting, security, and regular updates
- Analytics and ongoing optimization
Projects can be scoped one at a time or organized into a defined website-care plan.
How It Works
- Plan: We learn about the studio: size, stations, services, and the technology you expect it to need.
- Build: We design, cable, install, and secure the environment.
- Open: We test booking, payments, and printing, and support your opening.
- Support: We stay on for monthly support, security, and web care.
Onsite or Remote Support
Some clients want us in the room. Others only need us on the line. Tezkabyte offers both: onsite installation and support, and remote-only plans for work that doesn’t need us in the building. Tell us where you are and what you need, and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
When we do come onsite, plan on 30 to 60 minutes to arrive, depending on distance and traffic.
Questions We Hear
What do you need to give us a planning range?
Roughly how large the space is, how many stations or rooms you have, and what technology is in place or planned: booking, payments, printers, music, cameras, and Wi-Fi coverage. Ballpark answers are fine.
We rent chairs to independent stylists. Can that work?
Yes. Each person gets their own account and the access they need, without sharing keys or passwords to everything else.
Can you work with our current booking platform?
Usually. We start with what you run now and tell you honestly if it’s holding you back.
We’re a single-location studio. Is this overkill?
No. Most of our job is making small setups boringly reliable. Many studios begin with a defined support scope and grow from there.
Do you sell hardware?
Where available, we pass manufacturer partner pricing through to you, always itemized separately from labor.
